B&B Digital: Why And How We Build Better Websites for Professionals

Hi. We’re B&B Digital, and this is our first post. Our names are Jakub Borek and Gustaw Beźnicki. For years, we built software for banking and capital markets, industries where a website that is slow or insecure is simply not an option.

We founded B&B Digital because we noticed something that kept bothering us: a doctor, lawyer, or therapist may be an excellent specialist, while their website looks as if it was put together in half an hour using a ready-made template. Slow, similar to thousands of others, and sometimes even marked “Not secure” in the address bar.

That is not their fault. No one ever explained what they should be looking for.

Here, we want to explain things that are obvious to us but often unfamiliar to our clients. What hosting is and why cheap hosting can be slow. What doctors are allowed to write on their websites and what professional ethics rules prohibit. Why loading speed determines whether people can find you at all.

One thought to start with, something you can use today, even if you never contact us: type your speciality and city into Google, exactly as a potential client would. Check where you appear.
